When Tesla founder Elon Musk announced they had been working on some real-world ready autonomous driving tech that could be implemented into their existing models already on the road, many fans and critics urged him to prove it. So, naturally Musk and his team quickly pulled together footage of the car navigating a “complex urban environment,” out in their home of Palo Alto, California. While the car doing so much on its own is certainly impressive, we wonder how the technology would fair in other, less sunny, and poorly maintained “complex urban environments” around the country such as Atlanta, or Chicago.
