Ever since Donald Trump first developed a relationship with Cadillac in the late 1980’s, by contracting them to build a fleet of 50 richly gilded limousines which he never followed through on purchasing, the automaker has maintained a strange relationship with the Donald. For his election into the Oval Office, “The Beast”, the armored limousine which transports the President around, will be receiving a host of upgrades, including replacement chassis based on a full-size pickup truck, with the front end borrowed from the Escalade. While the interior will remain much similar to President Obama’s current limo, with the massive chassis upgrade, the armored plating will have to be significantly overhauled as well.
