Though many reporters and other car manufacturers are skeptical of NextEVs claims about its all-wheel drive supercar, the Nio EP-9, the company is trying to put itself on the map by demoing the blue bolt on Germany’s famed Nurburgring test track. NextEV boldly claims the fully-electric, all-wheel drive supercar has a top speed of over 194 miles per hour, with exactly 1,360 horsepower. It has also claimed that the EP-9’s four electric motors are capable of a range around 265 miles per charge. While much of this remains to be seen and confirmed, the ambitious EV definitely looks like it could do the job.
