With 19 of 21 races won in 2016, the German giant of the automotive world has its eyes firmly affixed to a repeat performance in 2017. Their latest approach involves going back to the design board and overhauling their F1 car in every way they can. Whether adding intake piping through the front splitter, adding larger deflectors to the undercarriage, or completely redesigning the rear wing to be more aerodynamic, Mercedes hopes its new approaches will cement its hold on first place for many seasons to come.
