Koenigsegg are on the forefront of not only super- and hypercar technology, but automotive technology in general. Their One:1 prototype blew the socks off of the industry for its novel and supremely advanced approaches to design in each of the car’s litany of systems. But where the One:1 was all about maximizing downforce while still being a street car, its cousin, the Regera, is a more street friendly variant that maintains the soul of the brand, albeit with power that won’t send you flying off the road. Even at the car’s steep price point, however, founder and CEO Christian von Koenigsegg says that the company is moving as fast as possible with production of the Regera model but still can’t keep up with the fevered demand for his cars around the world.
