Iceland native Sigfús B. Sverrisson is more than just a “fixer” or a car collector. His grandfather founded one of Iceland’s largest companies, which made its money importing Volkswagens, Audis, and Land Rovers. This proximity built a great love for the automobile in Sverrisson at an early age. He still recalls his trip to the U.S. on a road trip with his mother, when he saw his first Corvette, sitting in the parking lot. Sigfús still recalls it vividly, saying it was, “red and it looked like it was going 200 miles an hour.” When he laid eyes on the ’82 Corvette, dressed all in white, he knew it was love at first sight.
