Since their late father's passing, sibilings Frank, Santo, and Venera Spadaro have owned Dominick's European Car Repair in New York. Dominick Spadaro was a Sicilian immigrant who began his apprenticeship at International Motors with only a third grade education. Four years later, he opened up his own shop behind his mother's home, and commanded a small army of apprentices. He famously repaired a Jaguar XJ simply by taking it apart, lubing everything, and then putting it back together. As his son Santo tells it, when asked if he'd ever worked on a Jag before he replied, "Nope. Never seen one of these before in my life."
