Hollywood stuntman Eddie Braun just made history by jumping over Idaho’s Snake River Canyon in a custom-built $1.6 million dollar rocket. The spectacle was something that world famous stuntman Evel Kinevel failed to pull off nearly 40 years prior. Braun was so inspired by Kinevel growing up he financed the project himself in tribute to his late hero. Shooting over the canyon at 400 miles per hour, nearly 2,000 feet in the air, he safely touched down on the other side much to his own surprise. Braun was so certain he might not survive the jump, he told his son that he would have to give his daughter away at her wedding if everything went wrong.
