Chevrolet has just annoucned that 2017 will be the last year for the SS Caprice. The rear-wheel drive four door sedan was a big favorite among cops after it became the unmarked car of choice a few years ago. Sadly, the 6.2L V-8 powered sedan will go extinct after this year. With a miserable 3,013 US sales in 2016, it's no wonder why Chevy is shutting it down. The awesome 415 hp and 415 lb-ft torque just wasn't enough to justify the ridiculous $48,570 price tag.
