Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing rider Jason Anderson rolled into his second race of the TransWorld Motocross competition with an already injured leg, but no worse for the wear. After a hard fought battle on the course, Anderson gleefully pulled away from the pack and maintained a generous lead before crossing the finish line as the race winner. Before he could really celebrate his win, he was struck in the head by the second place finisher’s bike as it came down behind him from a huge air. Anderson was rushed to the hospital for a mandatory concussion check, but said of his own condition, “We’ve got everything checked out and I’m going to be OK. It’s just a bit of a bummer I couldn’t get out there in the last moto to help Team USA battle for the win.”
