EQUUS AUTOMOTIVE Inc., an American automobile manufacturer, was formed in 2009 as a corporation in the State of Georgia and is currently based in Rochester Hills near Detroit. Their claim to fame is fully designing and engineering the EQUUS BASS770.

The fastback design was inspired by the 1960s and 1970s American muscle cars. It has a carbon-fiber and aluminum car body on an aluminum frame and a curb weight of 3635 lb. General Motors LS9 6.2-litre supercharged V8 engine from Chevrolet Corvette rated 640 bhp and 605 lb ft torque, rear-driven double clutch 6-speed transaxle. It has 0-62 mph in 3.4 seconds and to a top speed of 200 mph. The EQUUS BASS770 was unveiled in 2014 Detroit North American International Auto Show, and then went on sale as a 2015 model year vehicle.
