Massive luxury yachts are among some of the most expensive items a truly rich person can blow a ton of their money on. If the process of building one alone is already insanely expensive, you can only imagine the cost, time, and effort associated with getting the damn thing in the water in the first place.

In this video from Omega Moran, a company that specializes in moving heavy machinery, we get a look into the work-intensive process of launching a 400-ton yacht. As you can see, it takes a full crew and a huge Mack truck to move the yacht from the factory, which, in this case, is the Vancouver, Washington-based Christensen Shipyards, to the waterway.

Even with all the members in the crew, it takes several hours for them to move the 800,000-pound vessel from out of the factory door and down the long pathway to the end of the launching site. Talk about some serious work!

Now, as for the yacht itself, along with its hulking weight, this thing measures in at 160 feet. Able to accommodate up to 12 guests, it features the sort of state-of-the-art amenities that you'd expect from a luxury yacht that size.

The big-ticket boat is available to charter out of Palm Beach, Florida, and can be rented for around $250,000 a week. So, if you have a whole bunch of money to blow, this seems like a fun way to switch things up a bit and have some fun out on the water.

Of course, you'll probably want to do that when it's a little bit warmer out and when we're not in the middle of a pandemic, but you get the gist.
