When Nick Stafford of Cedar Bluff, Virginia saw what he had to pay in taxes on two vehicles he didn't just get mad, he got even.
To punish his state government for their ridiculous charges and the insane process required to get answers about the bill, Stafford paid his taxes with nothing but pennies. It took 11 people four hours to help Stafford break open 3,000 rolls of pennies into 5 wheelbarrows. He didn't bother waiting for the DMV to count the coins and just left the 5 wheelbarrows in the lobby. Pennies are legal tender and Stafford's bizarre form of payment was completely legal.
