Indian gets re-animated, ready to knock Harley-Davidson off the throne

It seems like Indian has always played second fiddle to Harley-Davidson when it comes to cruisers. In recent years the motorcycle company suffered some truly rough times, but a deal with Polaris Industries brought them back from the dead and ready to fight. After introducing the Indian Chief back in 2014, Indian now has a new Scout that could be a "Harley killer." "We're really proud of the Scout because it has a great sales performance and has had a great impact on the market," says Reid Wilson, Indian's director of marketing. Available in either 100 hp or "entry level" 78 hp, the two modern versions of the Scout have their sights set on a wider range of riders. See more about the Scout in the video above.
