Oh, Florida man. Your decision-making paradigm is so far ahead of our time, or so far behind, either way, you are a man out of your element.

Florida man's latest exploits, this time under the guise of Martin Martinez Jr., involved giving control of a Toyota Camry to a 12-year-old boy. Oh, and there was a toddler inside. I promise this ends with no deaths. You can can stop holding your breath.

The son, Martin Martinez III, wasted no time in transforming the car from a practical family sedan into a speeding, out-of-control, steel bludgeon. The preteen careened through an intersection, lost control, yadda, yadda, yadda, and rolled the Camry into a canal.

Fortunately no one was seriously injured. Martinez III and his younger brother only suffered minor injuries. Florida Highway Patrol soon discovered the elder Martinez's shenanigans and booked him for child neglect, pending a trial.

Another day, another Florida life lesson.
