Drone footage captures sheer scale of Dieselgate

By now, we all know about Dieselgate. Volkswagen's diesel cars had a cheat to fool the emissions tests into thinking their cars were more efficient and easier on the environment than they actually were in real world driving. Because of this, VW Group was forced to buy back all affected cars.

What hasn't been decided yet, is what to do with all of these cars. So for now, these half a million cars are just sitting in lots all around the country waiting to learn their fate. To visualize just how huge this scandal is, here is just one of the storage sights as seen from above at the defunct Pontiac Silverdome in Michigan.
