Waterjets can be as powerful as a laser with enough pressure. In this video we see what a 60,000 psi waterjet can do to a huge chunk of solid rock. Given that this machine is used to cut incredibly intricate shapes out of sheet metal, its no surprise that the rock puts up very little resistance.
