In the video below, a truly nasty One-Sixx Nissan GTR faces off against a 1,000-horsepower nitro-boosted 1969 Camaro in this street race for the ages. The real question is, can the Nissan's all-wheel-drive match the disgusting power of the classic American muscle? The question is finally answered on a quarter mile of asphalt somewhere under the hot Mexico sun.

So, if you've made it to this point in the article, you've hopefully watched the video by now and know that the turbo GTR absolutely smoked the competition. Not all that surprising. But, we'd be remiss if we didn't point out the Nissan's incredible noisemaking. The sound that the GTR makes as it flies by around the 1:20 mark is music to any gearhead's ears.
Despite the Camaro not really standing a chance against the turbo GTR (you'll notice how the nitrous-boosted Chevy was weaving all over the road), it really is a beauty to look at. There's something about the aesthetic of good old-fashioned American muscle that you just can't beat. I mean, technically you could beat it in a street race, which we already covered. But, for the true classic lovers out there, this restored '69 Camaro is far from being a loser of a car.
