The dreaded red flag made an appearance in the final stage at Phoenix after Chris Buescher crashed hard into the wall on Lap 253.

Buescher flew into the wall, and parts of his brake rotors flew between the outside retaining wall and the SAFER barrier.

As a result, two different fires broke out, and the red flag came out for about five minutes to extinguish the fires.
