After a hiatus of more than five years, one track might be finding its way back onto the Formula 1 schedule.

Due to financial problems and a change of ownership, the Nurburgring has been absent from the F1 tour since 2013. Negotiations are underway in an attempt to hopefully end the track's absence from the sport, according to motorsport.com.

The new ownership group has planned on working with F1 to renew the partnership since they took over in 2016. New owners for both Formula 1 and the track could be the winning combination to make things work out.
