The No. 88 Nationwide Chevy will be a little different next season -- besides the obvious.

We already know that Dale Earnhardt Jr. will be absent from the vehicle that he helped make famous. But, the No. 88 Chevy Camaro that will be in NASCAR next season is a thing of beauty.

The Nationwide 88 Twitter account, recently shared a sneak peek of the car, and it got the most important seal of approval. Earnhardt commented on the post and he simply said, "Looks amazing."

Alex Bowman will be driving the car for Hendrick Motorsports in 2018. Bowman previously drove the Nationwide No. 88 as a sub in 2016, while Earnhardt was battling concussion related issues. Bowman won his first pole at Phoenix, while the interim driver, eventually having his most successful race in the Monster Energy Cup Series, finishing sixth.

It will be a little bizarre at first seeing the Camaro, knowing that Earnhardt isn't in it. But the No. 88 will always be associated with Earnhardt, just like the No. 3 will always be associated with his father. Neither were the numbers they started with, but they were the cars they finished in.
