Between the introduction of stages, countless penalties and Toyota dominance, it can be easy to forget that the 2017 NASCAR season actually provided some good racing and exciting finishes.

As annoying as some of the restarts were, there were a lot of intense, close finishes in 2017. This video has plenty of good battles, and it doesn't even get into the hard racing at the end of each stage.

They chose Daytona as the number one finish, where Kyle Larson started the final lap up front, but he ran out of gas to leave AJ Allmendinger and Ryan Blaney chasing Kurt Busch. Busch would hold on for his first career Daytona 500 win.
