With the devastating floods in southeast Texas and the Louisiana coast due to Hurricane Harvey, NASCAR teams are paying tribute in their own ways. Rick Ware Racing is running a "Pray For Texas" livery on their Darlington car to encourage donations to help the victims of the disaster.

Joey Logano and Shell are doing their part, too. In addition to running a Red Cross-inspired red and white car in the upcoming race at Richmond, NBCSports has reported that they are also making sizable donations. Shell is making an initial donation of $1 million to the America Red Cross' Hurricane Harvey disaster relief fund.
Logano will follow that with a personal donation of $25,000 and will use his Joey Logano Foundation to direct more money to the Red Cross.
Joey said in a statement:
"Houston and the Texas Gulf Coast have suffered a disaster of historic size - one that is going to take months if not years of recovery. In the last couple of days, we have seen sports icons and organizations step up for Texas and the Gulf Coast. With our strong ties to Shell and the community, we wanted to rally the passionate NASCAR base for this cause as well."
