A lot of testing has been completed at the new "Roval" at Charlotte Motor Speedway. In addition to it being a great change of pace when it is introduced next season, the half road course, half oval has a fan in Martin Truex Jr.

Truex talked about how the track is just a totally different beast compared to any of the tracks he's driven. He says the track gives you no time for breaks and is, "A unique challenge."

He enjoys the challenge and thinks fans will enjoy the racing there, too. The oval atmosphere mixed in with road course variety is sure to make for an interesting event.

And, if you don't like road corses usually, don't worry, Truex thinks this track doesn't have too much in common with tracks like Sonoma or Watkins glen, saying:

"It's not your typical road course."

No. No it is not.
