Kyle Larson will get his wish.

He announced on Twitter that his NASCAR team owner, Chip Ganassi, signed off a plan that will let Larson race at  A-Main sprint car race at Knoxville Nationals in Iowa on Saturday night, and then fly back to Michigan for the NASCAR Cup Series.

This all started when, on Wednesday, Larson won the A-Main sprint car race at Knoxville Nationals in Iowa, so he was headed for a career first -- racing Saturday night in the main event.

But Larson was also supposed to race at the NASCAR Cup Series on Sunday at Michigan International Speedway.

He wanted to do both, but needed the permission of  NASCAR team owner Chip Ganassi.

"I've definitely got to have the conversation with him for sure," Larson told the Des Moines Register. "Listen, I want to so bad. I've never been this good in a sprint car in my career."

NBC Sports noted this is how Larson can pull it off:

Final cup practice ends at Michigan about 12:20 p.m. Hope a private plane for a roughly two-hour flight to Knoxville and make it in time for hot laps, which start about 7:45 p.m. (with the main event following). Then scamper back to Michigan in time for the 3 p.m. Sunday start.

I'm tired just writing that.
