If the off season is any indication of what's to come for 2018, Kyle Larson might be in for one heck of a ride.

Larson is vacationing in New Zealand with his family, but that hasn't stopped him from taking in a few races. He previously traveled to New Zealand last year in hopes of racing, but bad weather wiped out his chance.

A few days ago Larson won in the International Midget Series race at the New Zealand Kiwi Speedway and followed that up with another victory Wednesday as he took the top spot in his second midget event, according to NBC Sports.

The races are part of a six-race tour in New Zealand. Two of the other contests were rained out, with Larson spinning out in another. His final race on the schedule will take place Friday at Western Springs.

Larson is scheduled to participate in the 32nd annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals which begin next Tuesday in Tulsa, OK.
