It was another impressive showing for Toyotas at practice for the Overton's 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
However, Kyle Larson's No. 42 Chevrolet had the fastest car of the day as he hit the top speed of 135.714 mph during Friday's practice.
Larson was followed by Kyle Busch's No. 18 Toyota Camry. Kasey Kahne was third-fastest at 135.198 in his No. 5 Chevrolet, while Martin Truex Jr. was fourth in his Toyota at 1235.188.

Ryan Blaney's Ford was fifth at a time of 135.030 mph. Denny Hamlin, who won the last race at NHMS, was sixth in his No. 11 Toyota at 134.973.
The issues of Toyota and speed has simmered all season as Brad Keselowski has accused the manufacturer of an unfair advantage. No surprise, the Toyota drivers have dismissed that notion.
Jimmie Johnson and Chase Elliott had the worst days of any championship contender as both crashed during practice. They will both have to go to backup cars for Sunday's race. Elliott had the slowest time of any of the 16 playoff drivers.

Drivers will have time to practice again on Saturday morning for 50 minutes.
