Top driver takes a shot at himself with "the first loser" comment

Finishing second place... again... could be frustrating for Kyle Larson, but he is keeping it all in perspective. Sure, he can be called "The first loser," but he knows that consistency is key in the playoffs. While winning would be nice, he is content with being right there.

Larson is also second place in the playoff standings behind Martin Truex Jr and ahead of Kyle Busch despite those two drivers having one playoff win a piece to Larson's zero.

Consistency is truly working for him for now, but Larson will have to come in first at some point if he wants to win his first career championship.
