Christopher Bell earned his first XFINITY Series win this past weekend at Kansas after passing his teammate Erik Jones with four laps to go, but it will not help him in the point standings as JR Motorsport drivers continue to hold the top three positions.

Heading into the race, William Byron had the most points of any driver, but he was unseated by teammate Justin Algaier, who earned more stage points during the race. In addition, their teammate Elliott Sadler maintained his third position in the standings thanks to a seventh-place finish, despite spinning earlier in the race.

In total, JR Motorsports drivers have combined for 54 top-10s, 32 top-5s, four poles, and five wins this season in the NASCAR XFINITY Series. What's more, Allgaier has a 33-point lead over fifth in the point standings, while Bryon and Sadler both have significant cushions over the fifth-place driver in the point standings, Matt Tifft, which means they have an excellent chance of all making the Championship 4 race at Homestead to close out the season.

"Hats off to everybody back at the shop at JR Motorsports, they've done a great job," Allgaier said after Sunday's race, according to JRMSports.com.

Allgaier and his JR Motorsports teammates will be in action again at Texas Motor Speedway on November 4th.

Coincidentally, that track is where the co-owner of JR Motorsports, Dale Earnhardt Jr., picked up his first win in the Cup Series.
