A driver explains why it's so fun to rag on Denny Hamlin

Denny Hamlin has been NASCAR's designated punching bag lately. Whether he is being wrecked on the track or trolled off of it, he has been getting worked hard over the last few weeks.

Landon Cassill was asked by USA Today, who in NASCAR was the most fun to prank and his answer sums up just why people enjoy giving Hamlin a hard time.

"Lately, Denny Hamlin I guess," Cassill said. "In general, the people that take themselves too seriously are the most fun to mess with, so whoever is taking themselves too seriously at the moment is usually the most fun to mess with."

After Hamlin and Chase Elliott first got tangled at Martinsville, Hamlin claimed he had never purposely wrecked someone in 10,000 races. A bit of hyperbole that Cassill didn't let slide.
