NASCAR on FOX has been running a bracket to determine the greatest driver in NASCAR history, and the championship round came down to Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Jeff Gordon.
Fans were instructed to retweet for Earnhardt and like for Gordon, and The Intimidator led by just over 1,000 on Sunday morning.

Earnhardt's lead was too close for comfort for Dale Jr., who tweeted that he was "surprised it's even this close."

Given Earnhardt's seven championships, it's hard to argue with the results. Earnhardt defeated Jimmie Johnson in the semifinals, while Gordon knocked off Richard Petty.
