Kyle Busch has been getting a lot of praise lately for his three win last week, capped off with his victory at Bristol.  We all know the brash 32-year-old is good, but now, Dale Earnhardt Jr. has taken it one step further.

He thinks Busch could be in the discussion for the greatest of all-time. Here's what he said on his Dale Jr. podcast:

"Kyle Busch would be considered by many people to be the greatest race car driver in the history of the sport if and when he wins a few more championships. I think that's the only thing that's not allowed him to creep into that conversation yet for a lot of people. ...

"Kyle's definitely getting in this conversation, particularly with weekends like this. If he goes on and wins a championship or two or three more championships before he hangs it up, he's gonna be in that. He's going to be a contender for the championship, I perceive, for the next several years."

Busch  has one championship (2017) but has 40 career NASCAR Cup Series wins. But it seems like he has a ways to go before he's in the same conversation with Dale Earnhardt, Richard Petty, Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon and the like.
