Callaway will give Chevy fans a reason to watch racing again

Fans of Chevy have had a tough NASCAR season, capped off with a championship race that saw none of the final four drivers with a bow tie on the front of their car. Toyotas dominated all season and ended up winning the title while Ford at least did enough to have two drivers in the running for the last race.

But fear not, Chevy fans! There is more to racing than just NASCAR. And the Pirelli World Challenge offers the perfect opportunity for exciting racing and maybe a better result for those who prefer a Corvette to a Camry.

There's now even a familiar name to follow in the series as well: Callaway. Callaway Competition USA will enter a pair of Corvette C7 GT3-Rs in next year's Pirelli World Challenge according to Motorsport.com.

The drivers and cars will be unveiled in December. "Joining the Pirelli World Challenge has been a long-term objective for Callaway Competition," said Callaway Cars founder Reeves Callaway. "Now the field is a roll-call of the most capable sports cars from every country. To do well here, you must beat the best in the world. What better way to showcase our iconic American car?"

The series races in locations all over the United States and Canada beginning in March next year.
