The championship race final four drivers is set, and there is a glaring omission: Chevy. The four drivers who will race for the title at Homestead are all driving Fords and Toyotas. The Toyotas of Martin Truex Jr. and Kyle Busch will battle with the Fords of Kevin Harvick and Brad Keselowski while Chevy's best two drivers, Chase Elliott and Jimmie Johnson, race for pride.

Until this season, Chevy had never been left out of the final four at Homestead since the format was introduced in 2014.
