Furniture Row Racing and Martin Truex Jr. were just crowned NASCAR champions, and now they get to reap their rewards further at the Nov. 30 awards ceremony.
Well, almost all of them will.
Barney Visser, the team's owner, won't be able to attend the awards ceremony because he's still recovering from heat surgery, Bob Pockrass of ESPN reported on a tweet.
Joe Garone said Barney Visser's surgery requires limited movement for 8 weeks so he won't be at the awards ceremony on Nov. 30. #nascar

The Furniture Row racing team issued a statement on it website Nov. 10th, saying Visser had suffered a heart attack the previous Saturday and was recovering from a successful bypass surgery. His post-op treatment requires eight weeks of rest and limited movement, but hopefully that will lead to his eventual recovery.
