Roush Fenway Racing has just announced which of its three drivers of the No. 60 Ford will be opening up the season at Daytona and, needless to say, he's thrilled.

Austin Cindric has gotten the green light to race the PowerShares QQQ 300 in the NASCAR Xfinity Series season opener at Daytona International Raceway and the driver said, "It's really cool", according to motorsport.com.

"It's an honor to be able to start off a program as unique as what we've got going on with the No. 60 car," Cindric said. "I couldn't imagine starting at a better place, obviously."

"I'm just happy to be in the seat for the first race," he added.

Last season, Cindric finished third in the Camping World Truck Series points standings and had one win, eight top-5 finishes, and 16 top-10's with Brad Keselowski Racing. Not too shabby for his first full-time season.

Cindric has one previous start in the Xfinity Series, where he started on the pole and finished in 16th place at Elkhart Lake in Wisconsin.
