It's official. Jeep needs to start cranking out the late 40's Willys as soon as possible! Jalopnik's David Tracy's 1948 Farm Jeep ate the rocks, in a good way of course, outside of Moab, Utah, putting much more expensive rock crawlers to shame.

What the Jeep lacked in options and extras it made up for in sheer brawn. The Willy was willing and able to take an immense beating in order to reach its destination. One would only assume that if the movie Homeward Bound starred cars instead of dogs, it would be a cast built entirely on vintage Jeeps making the long journey back to Auburn Hills.
