Weighing over 5,000 pounds and producing 470 horsepower, the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT is not your typical grocery getter, but it still usually spends its life that way. With a dedicated track mode, this SUV is heavy on the sport, but how is it on the utility?

While not the most extreme offroading, this muddy trail is the furthest from tarmac this car will likely ever be. Given the softball trail it was tossed it is not surprising the Grand Cherokee had no issue, but it is still impressive that it was able to keep from spinning its track focused tires in the mud. The key takeaway is to learn how to turn off your parking sensors before hitting the trail so you aren't bombarded with warning tones the whole way.
