NASCAR announced this morning that it's postponing Saturday's Visit Hampton Virginia 150 at Virginia's Langley Speedway because of weather concerns.

The news was reported by Speed Sport.

Officials are expecting rain on Saturday, and the forecast for Hampton, VA., calls for rain from today through Saturday. The forecast calls for clear skies Monday, and the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East race will now be held then. It's been rescheduled for 4 p.m. Monday, Sept. 6.

It's an important race because NASCAR Next drivers Harrison Burton and Todd Gilliland are separated by just four points in the championship standings.
