If you own a Ram pickup truck you may be driving around with a defective water pump that can cause a fire.

FCA is recalling 443,712 Ram pickups from 2013 to 2017 equipped with the 6.7-liter engine. The specific models included in the recall are, the Ram 2500 and 3500 pickup and 3500, 4500 and 5500 chassis cabs.

Although FCA claims there have been no fires or injuries reported, they fear the defective water pumps could overheat and cause an engine fire. They have stated a warning light would come on in an over heat situation, but its always good practice to scan your gauges periodically. The repair will be performed free of charge and to check whether your vehicle is affected you can refer to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's website.
