Well, this is either really responsible or awfully odd. You pick.

A Florida man called police to report that he was too drunk to drive, according to  Fox 35-TV.

The Polk County Sheriff's office released a tape of the man saying he was too drunk to drive and that he needed to be pulled over. "I'm too drunk. I don't know where I'm at," the man can be heard saying on the 9-11 recording.

Authorities arrested Michael  Lester, 39, of Winter Haven. Sheriff's officials said he has been  previously arrested for DUI,  aggravated battery, drug possession, disorderly conduct, resisting, and hit and run.

"Driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs is a serious crime. Innocent people are too often injured or killed from impaired drivers. DUI is not a laughing matter," Sheriff Grady Judd told the TV station..  "However, in this particular incident, nobody was hurt, so we couldn't help but 'LOTO' (that means we Laughed Our Tasers Off)."
