The Powerhouse Coach Is a Luxury RV That Packs Incredible Power

When it comes to luxury and custom recreational vehicles, Doug Tolbert definitely changed the game with the Powerhouse Coach. As you can see in the below clip from the TV show Destination America, Tolbert built the luxury motorcoach so that he could make his way through Idaho Falls. Talk about one seriously ambitious dude. All that for a road trip?

Boasting an incredible custom design, this beast definitely isn't your typical truck camper. As Tolbert simply puts it, "It's a house on wheels, and it has lots of power." Yeah, we'd say that pretty much sums it up.

From the outside, the Powerhouse is a semi truck-powered monster of a motorhome, running 122 feet long all told and packing an impressive amount of horsepower for its size. How much power exactly? Well, enough to haul a 38,000-pound trailer and a boat. See, we told you this thing was no joke.

Now, once you venture on inside, the Powerhouse Coach RV has the look of a top-of-the-line luxury cabin. Since it's got trailers that widen at the push of a button, the custom build is working with 400 square feet and is capable of easily sleeping eight people. With three TVs and an entertainment center that's working with more than $10,000 worth of equipment, this thing is like a luxury party bus on steroids.

The RV is also powered by a generator, while the solar panels on the roof help keep everything charged. Let's just say that this mode of transportation is the exact opposite of roughing it. If you're not convinced that the Powerhouse RV is one of the coolest custom coaches on the market, then we really don't know what to tell you.
