No one climbs Pikes Peak like Ken Block climbs Pikes Peak. Unless you know anyone who's gone full throttle and sideways up one of the most treacherous drivable mountain summits in America.

Back in September 2017, for a special episode of his Climbkhana series, the professional rally driver took his 1965 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn RTR V2 up the 14,000-foot Colorado hill climb. As you can probably imagine, this ride is absolutely STACKED. It's equipped with Block's special 1,400-horsepower twin-turbo methanol-fueled engine. The all-wheel drive Mustang is also outfitted with Toyo Proxes R888R tires.

If you're familiar with Ken Block, then you know that these sort of ridiculous driving stunts are pretty much par for the course. If not, then allow us to educate you.

Perhaps most well known for his Gymkhana series, which takes drifting to a whole other extreme level, the 52-year-old Long Beach, California native had quite the successful professional rallying career, and even started his own team, the Hoonigan Racing Division.

Action sports is definitely Block's forte, as he's also competed in skateboarding, snowboarding, and motocross events. Throughout the years, he's also proved his business savvy, as the co-founder of DC Shoes (though he has since sold his ownership) and the founder of Hoonigan Industries, a clothing brand for auto enthusiasts.

In more recent news, Block has been traveling all over the world in the past several months, rallying his Ford Escort Cosworth rally car everywhere from Missouri to Ireland to New Zealand. Which is, no doubt, extremely cool and all, but we'd be lying if we said we didn't want him to set aside some time for another epic Pikes Peak run. Do it, Ken! Do it!
