Police officers have to be ready for everything, and sometimes they have to save people from themselves. Fox8 reports that the Sandusky, Ohio pd got a call early on a Wednesday morning saying, "I think there is a guy that may want to jump from the bridge."

Officer Evan Estep responded to the call and proceeded to try to talk the man off the ledge. As the man hangs further over the edge, the Estep and other officers try to calmly close in while assuring the man they just want to talk. When they finally get close enough, they are able to grab the man and pull him to safety.

The intense scene was captured by Estep's dashcam and is a reminder of the crazy things police have to deal with on a regular basis.
