There’s putting a real-life project car together piece-by-piece, and then there is the level of detail required to create a scale replica of that project car from LEGO bricks. The builders at LegoLand’s Florida resort constructed their BrickPony, based on a ’64 Mustang, from 194,900 individual LEGO and DUPLO bricks, weighing in at more than 960 pounds, and an aluminum chassis, weighing in at 752 pounds. The whole thing took a team of LEGO’s Master Builders more than 1,200 hours to complete. The final product was wired up to playfully prank guests in the video below.
