Feast your eyes on one of the coolest RC models we've ever seen.

To be sure, there are plenty of incredible 1/4 scale RC car and truck models out there in the world. Many just go straight for points on the attention-to-detail front, but few can perform on the ridiculous levels that this Peterbilt 359 can. Sure, aesthetic accuracy and precise detailing is still there with the eye-popping paint job and the operational, chrome-polished smoke stacks.

But, on the performance level, this RC truck takes it up several notches, as it can actually tow a three-ton, 4WD Nissan Patrol. Stop what you're doing, and watch this match-up right now!

Working with a a 36 Volt, 750 Watt electric motor, powering the rear wheels via a sprocket and drivetrain, this 15' (trailer included), 300-pound Peterbilt is not your average remote control model. Not by a long shot. Definitely not something you were messing around with when you were a kid.

Talk about a classic example of big things coming in small packages. Interestingly enough, there is actually an 18-page book, complete with high-resolution photos, that details the construction of the Peterbilt RC truck. You know, just in case you thought this was an easy, overnight process. It actually took a whopping nine months.

But, more on this mini Peterbilt's specs. With a steering system that was go-kart inspired, the truck was also equipped with a disco smoke machine. Hence, the operational smoke stacks we mentioned earlier. The builder also used plastic pipes to craft the gas tanks and threw in a Tamiya sound system, with an amp and two coaxial speakers, to give the truck that realistic sound. What a beauty!
