Everyone's wondered, but few have been brave enough to actually test the theory, what happens when run a motor without any oil?
Spoiler alert: it breaks . . . obviously.
But what you didn't know until now, is just how catastrophically your motor will fail if you deny it that sweet, sweet oil. Thankfully, the Hot Rod Network has the wheel of death, so we get to see the mayhem first hand.
First thing you'll probably notice is that the engine doesn't blow up immediately. Even if, for some inexplicable reason, you find yourself cruising with no oil, you'll probably notice smoke coming out of your hood, warning you that something might be up. But if you miss/ignore that, you'll be sorry. To put it simply, your engine will literally dismember itself without oil.
