Plasti-dip or water transfer printing is the process of using special formulated paints suspended in layer on top of pool of water to coat a material in whatever pattern the paint displays. Slowly submerging the material you want painted or “dipping” it allows the paint to adhere to the surface of the material, while the water locks it on tightly. After you swish it around in the water, the layer of “dip” disperses and you can bring up your material to dry and cure. We could watch these fellows make the beautiful works of art all day.
