Driver Frank Van Hoesel was using his Tesla’s Autopilot feature to move through a busy morning commute with relative ease, when his car chirped an alert at him and applied the emergency brakes as a high-speed rear end collision happened just yards in front of him. The sensors on his car detected an imminent collision up ahead only seconds before the cars in front of Hoesel smashed into one another. It looks like Tesla’s autonomous driving technology really does keep getting better every day.
