Acclaimed drifter and off-roader “Ballistic” BJ Baldwin had some unfortunate news to report about his Baja 1000 truck late in the evening following a severe crash with what he describes as a “rock the size of a car.” Baldwin characterized the massive stone as “the worst thing that I have hit. So far. To date,” then reassured fans (and possibly himself, looking genuinely shaken and slurring his words a bit), “but we’re glad to be okay.” He also noted that the chassis-mounted Rigid Industries headlights still work, despite catching the full force of the impact. To quote Baldwin, “You get what you pay for.”
